Mortgage Advisor – Full Time

At Olympic Mortgages, we pride ourselves on providing clients with the highest level of customer service and the lowest rates on residential mortgages.

The successful candidate is confident in both customer service and sales. Mortgage and/or banking experience is a requirement. We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who is a self-starter. The successful applicant should have a good grasp of concepts such as debt servicing and the 5 C’s of credit.

This job is broken down into the two main categories of sales and service. The main tasks include:

  • Regular ongoing follow-up with leads, referral sources, and existing clientele
  • Mortgage analysis and underwriting
  • Servicing existing mortgage applications

The successful applicant should meet the following criteria:

  • High level of confidence on the phone for both sales follow-ups and existing clientele questions
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Be able to multi-task throughout the day, bouncing between administrative tasks, customer service, and sales
  • 1 year of bank account manager or mortgage broker experience
  • Live in the greater Victoria area or Southern Vancouver Island (able to commute to Victoria for team events or networking events)
